Public open space provides significant benefits for local amenity, physical and mental wellbeing, access to quality, safe and usable public open space is even more important in areas of increased density and urban infill. 

In 2022 the community came together to save our local parks, I was proud to represent the community. With the support of Minister Saffioti, seven state-owned parks and reserves across the electorate of Bateman were rezoned as public open space and are now protected or future generations. 

I have and I will continue to make improvements to local parks in order to protect our public open space across the electorate of Bateman. 

We are at our best when we work together, and with your feedback, I will continue to do my part to deliver for our community.
