Join me for a community planting day as part of my $120,000 election commitment to create the first-ever urban pocket forest in the Bateman electorate.

Together, we'll transform Ces Deceau Reserve into a thriving pocket forest that will help cool our neighbourhood, provide vital habitat for black cockatoos and other local wildlife, and create a beautiful green space for our community to enjoy for generations to come.

No experience is needed – just bring your enthusiasm! All equipment and light refreshments will be provided. Drop in for an hour or stay for the whole morning. Everyone is welcome.

This exciting project has been shaped by our community from the very beginning. The design has been developed through public consultation and community design workshops, with ideas from local school students helping to create a space that reflects the aspirations of our community.
