The Swan Estuary Reserves Action Group (SERAG) have received a grant from Lotterywest. They intend to use the $14,666 in funding to purchase a trailer and equipment to help its 90 volunteers, who carry out conservation work across more than six kilometres of the foreshore.

The SERAG coordinates rehabilitation and revegetation projects including planting native species, weeding and soft erosion control measures, as well as educational program.

The Minister for the Environment the Hon. Reece Whitby MLA presented them with the grant on behalf of the McGowan Labor Government.
