Funding is being provided to different schools across the State as part of the Schools Clean Energy Technology Fund. The McGowan Labour Government is dedicated to supporting programmes that lessen the environmental impact that schools have and educate students about climate action.

Mount Pleasant Primary School was one of the schools to receive solar panels. The initiative is apart of the $44.6 million dollar fund to reduce the carbon footprint left by schools. Steps like these act to educate students on renewable energy while decreasing school energy bills.
