Brentwood Primary School will receive a $42,753 Cook Labor Government grant to upgrade its sporting facilities and create more opportunities for students and the wider community to get involved in sport.

The funding, delivered through the Community Use of School Sporting Facilities Program, will support the installation of new soccer goals on the school oval, upgrades to storage facilities with electric roller doors, and the establishment of a Community Use Agreement with Murdoch University Melville Football Club.

These upgrades will improve access to sporting facilities for students and the wider community, while providing a safe, weatherproof space to store sporting equipment.

The partnership between Brentwood Primary School and Murdoch University Melville Football Club will help make better use of local facilities and encourage more opportunities for community sport close to home.

The Cook Labor Government is committed to investing in our schools and ensuring students, families and local communities have access to high-quality facilities.

Through programs like this, we are helping schools partner with local sporting clubs, upgrade community facilities and create spaces where people can stay active and connected.
