Congratulations to the City of Melville Citizens Relief Fund (MCRF) who have received a $25,000 Lotterywest grant!
The MCRF have been serving the Melville community for almost 40 years, providing food hampers, bill support, as well as partnering with Caralee Community School on its breakfast club program. We’re proud to have a long-standing partnership with MCRF and our Financial Counsellor works closely with the group to provide emergency assistance to those in our community facing financial hardship.
MCRF Chairperson Paul Tomas said the grant would support operations in 2023-2024.
“The benefits and purpose of gaining the funding will enable the wider community in Melville to receive support via financial assistance and the Food Links program, which assists the local Caralee Community Primary School with additional breakfast items,” he said.
