The Jacaranda Festival is a celebration of the Applecross community. The festival draws in crowds of families to partake in the festivities, including markets stalls, street performers, games and more. We are so lucky that in our electorate we have events such as these to inspire community and showcase everything that Bateman has to offer.
The Applecross Rotary Club are a key group in our community that do incredible work in the area. Their continued efforts to make the Jacaranda Festival a success year after year is part of what makes Applecross such a special place to live. I was pleased to present the Applecross Rotary with a $15,000 Lotterywest grant to support this year's event. City of Melville Mayor George Gear and Creative Producer Pete Stone also came along to show support.
