The South of the River Potters Club has received $13,000 through Lotterywest to support important equipment upgrades, helping local artists continue to create, learn and connect through pottery.
Based at the Atwell House arts precinct in Alfred Cove, the South of the River Potters Club is a welcoming community group that brings people together through a shared passion for pottery. The club provides opportunities for members of all skill levels to develop their craft, share ideas and take part in workshops and exhibitions.
The funding has supported the purchase of new equipment including plinths, custom-made canvas tables and a new pottery wheel, helping members access improved facilities and continue their creative work.
Community groups like the South of the River Potters Club play an important role in creating spaces where people can connect, build skills and pursue their passions.
It’s fantastic to see this investment delivered to support the club’s ongoing work and the valuable contribution it makes to our local creative community.
