Since the 2021-22 Budget, we have delivered an additional 547 hospital beds throughout the state – the equivalent of building a new tertiary hospital.

Through our 2023-24 Budget, we are committed to building an additional 600 beds across regional and metropolitan WA.

Alongside our ramping reforms, these new beds will ease pressure on our health system, free up emergency departments and ensure patients receive better access to healthcare.
