We're supporting regional nursing students while they study at TAFE. 

As part of the 2023-24 State Budget, the Cook Labor Government announced a new $2.9 million package to provide eligible Diploma of Nursing students with Financial support to undertake the up to 400 hours of practical placement required for their training where locally-based placements aren't available. 

This not only helps students but will help address the growing demand for skilled worker in the health sector.
