The Cook Government will deliver an electricity credit to every Western Australian residence of $400.
This means that every WA household will receive a $700 Electricity Credit - this includes $300 from the Albanese Labor Government.
Further, an additional energy bill relief will be provided to those most in need, with $734 of support for pensioners and at least $1,086 for eligible families.
The Household Electricity Credit is a Cook Government initiative funded in the 2024-25 Budget to assist households managing cost of living pressures driven by rising interest rates.
