Hosting major events is a huge part of WA Labor's plan to create local jobs, set up WA's economy for the future and ensure WA remains a global destination of choice for visitors. 

That's why a re-elected Cook Labor Government will deliver the Perth Street Circuit and entertainment precinct at Burswood Park. 

We will also invest in motorsport infrastructure and community motorsports facilities across WA - building on WA Labor's commitment to drive regional tourism and support local jobs. 

The $217.5 million Precinct will include: 

• multi-use event infrastructure, function centre and outdoor music amphitheatre along with the street circuit
• investments in upgrades for motorsport infrastructure and community motorsports facilities across WA
• An additional $17.6 million has been committed to grassroots motorsport with upgrades and works for a range of racetracks, kart clubs, motorcross and speedways across the State 
• $1.3 million to deliver medical facilities upgrades at 13 Karting WA tracks around the State

WA Labor’s Perth Street Circuit will generate tens of millions of dollars for the local economy, attract major national motorsport events and provide a new world-class live music venue for WA.
