We now have the toughest firearms and knife laws in the nation and make no apologies for protecting our community. 

With this Community Safety package, we back-in our tough stance cracking down on criminal and anti-social behaviour - with a $22.5 million package to target criminals and intimidating and antisocial behaviour in our shopping centres and neighbourhoods.

It will see more CCTV cameras deployed in known anti-social hot spots to protect families, a new standalone offence to make it illegal to 'post and boast' about hooning, violence, property damage and other criminal activity online, and will empower retailers and shopping centres to seek orders barring people who exhibit violent or intimidating behaviour. 

A Liberal-National Government will reverse firearm laws, risking these weapons falling into the hands of criminals. The Liberals can't be trusted to keep our community safe.
