• Re-elected Cook Labor Government to expand Swan River ferry services
• Two new ferry stops to be built at Applecross and UWA
• Ferry fleet to be expanded with five new locally manufactured electric ferries
• Investment to activate the riverfront, slash commute times and create jobs

WA Labor's ferry plan is a game-changer for the suburbs along the river, especially people living in Bateman.

The Swan River is one of our city's greatest assets and for decades Western Australians have wanted to see it used to its full potential.

WA Labor's plan will do just that.

A re-elected Cook Labor Government's expansion of Swan River ferry services includes:

  • Two new ferry stops to be built at Applecross and UWA
  • Five new locally manufactured electric ferries

The new ferry stops at Applecross and at UWA will link with existing stops in the city and South Perth.

This is a fantastic outcome for Bateman and the whole connection of our transport system.
